कुल 20 बड़े राज्यों में से बिहार का स्थान नीचे से दूसरा है।
गुजरात एवं महाराष्ट्र क्रमशः द्वितीय और तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया।
8 छोटे राज्यों में से 56 अंकों के साथ गोवा ने शीर्ष स्थान प्राप्त किया।
वहीं केंद्र शासित राज्यों में 68.5 अंकों के साथ जम्मू एवं कश्मीर शीर्ष पे रहा।

Goa topped the list with 56 points out of 8 smaller states.
In the Union Territories, Jammu and Kashmir topped the list with 68.5 marks.

प्रसिद्ध संगीतकार और संतूर वादक पंडित शिवकुमार शर्मा का हाल ही में 84 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया। उन्हें संतूर वाद्य को लोकप्रिय बनाने के लिए जाना जाता है। पंडित शिवकुमार शर्मा ने 1991 में प्रतिष्ठित पद्मश्री और 2001 में पद्म विभूषण प्राप्त किया। उन्होंने कई हिंदी फिल्मों के लिए संगीत तैयार किया है और एक प्रसिद्ध अवधारणा एल्बम ‘कॉल ऑफ द वैली’ का निर्माण किया है।
Legendary musician and Santoor player Pandit Shivkumar Sharma passed away recently at the age of 84. He is known for popularising the santoor instrument. Pandit Shivkumar Sharma received the prestigious Padma Shri in 1991, and the Padma Vibhushan in 2001. He has composed music for many hindi films and produced a famous concept album ‘Call of the Valley’.

The Lion Pillar of Ashoka at Sarnath is preserved in the Sarnath museum. Recently a replica of Ashoka Pillar of 7 feet height on the roof of the new Parliament House (Central Vista) was unveiled. Tata Group has got the contract for the construction of the new Parliament.The idol sculptors Laxman Vyas and Sunil Decode got the responsibility of making this pillar.

व्याख्या- सारनाथ के अशोक का सिंह स्तंभ सारनाथ संग्रहालय में संरक्षित है। हाल ही में नए संसद भवन (सेंट्रल विस्टा) की छत पर 7 फीट ऊंचे अशोक स्तंभ की प्रतिकृति का अनावरण किया गया। टाटा समूह को नई संसद के निर्माण का ठेका मिला है। मूर्तिकार लक्ष्मण व्यास और सुनील देवड़े को इस स्तंभ को बनाने की जिम्मेदारी मिली है।

नीति आयोग ने ‘भारत में पोषण पर प्रगति का संरक्षण: महामारी के समय में पोषण अभियान’ शीर्षक से एक रिपोर्ट जारी की।
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, पोषण अभियान योजना के कार्यान्वयन में महाराष्ट्र ने राज्यों में शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया है।

न्यूजीलैंड क्रिकेट और खिलाड़ियों के संघ द्वारा पांच साल के समझौते के अनुसार, न्यूजीलैंड में पुरुष और महिला क्रिकेटरों को समान वेतन मिलेगा। समझौते के अनुसार, महिला खिलाड़ियों को घरेलू और अंतरराष्ट्रीय दोनों स्तरों पर सभी प्रारूपों और प्रतियोगिताओं में पुरुषों के समान मैच फीस का भुगतान किया जाएगा।
क्रिकेट में इस मोर्चे पर समानता लाने वाला न्यूजीलैंड के बाद भारत दूसरा देश है।
As per the five-year agreement by New Zealand Cricket and the players’ association, male and female cricketers in New Zealand will earn equal pay. According to the agreement, women players will be paid the same match fees as men in all forms and events at both the domestic and international levels.
India is the second country after New Zealand to bring parity on this front in cricket.
