The 22nd edition of FIFA 2022 was won by Argentina which they clinched(3rd World Cup) their trophy seeing off France 4–2 on penalties (3–3 after extra time) to win the biggest prize in men’s football at the Lusail Stadium in Lusail, Qatar.
Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez scooped the Golden Glove for best goalkeeper after saving a penalty from Kingsley Coman in the shoot-out.
The 2026 World Cup will be held across three different countries, the United States, Canada and Mexico.

It is a programme by the Indian Navy in partnership with France that entails building six Scorpene Class attack submarines. Scorpene is a conventional powered submarine weighing 1500 tonnes and can go up to depths of 300m. It includes the indigenous construction of six submarines- INS Kalvari (2017), INS Khanderi (2019), INS Karanj (2021), INS Vela (2021), INS Vagir (2022), INS Vagsheer (2023).

It is a GIS based system and analytics platform that provides information to various stakeholders using Decision Support System functionality.

Retired High Court Chief Justice Rituraj Awasthi has been appointed as the chairperson of the law commission. After two and a half years, the 22nd Law Commission of India has been constituted.
The tenure of the 21st Law Commission, which was headed by former Supreme Court judge Justice B S Chauhan, came to an end on August 31 2018.

Law Commission of India is a non-statutory body and is constituted by a notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Law & Justice, Department of Legal Affairs with a definite terms of reference to carry out research in the field of law and the Commission makes recommendations to the Government (in the form of Reports) as per its terms of reference.
The Central Government established the First Law Commission in 1955 with the then Attorney-General of India, Mr. M. C. Setalvad, as its Chairman.
