Maithili Thakur, known for her contribution to folk music, has been made the brand ambassador for khadi and handicraft of the Bihar state. Maithili Thakur was born in Benipatti in Madhubani district in Bihar.Recently she was selected for the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar of the Sangeet Natak Akademi (SNA) for her contribution to folk music for the year 2021.

The survey of the proposed high speed rail corridor on the Delhi-Howrah route has been completed in Bihar. The train will run at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour between Patna to Kolkata and Delhi. High speed train stations will be built in three cities of Bihar, including Patna, Buxar and Gaya. The aim of the high speed train is to connect major state capitals and religious places.
दिल्ली-हावड़ा रूट पर प्रस्तावित हाईस्पीड रेल कॉरिडोर का बिहार में सर्वे पूरा हो गया है। पटना से कोलकाता और दिल्ली के बीच 350 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा की रफ्तार से ट्रेन दौड़ेगी। बिहार के तीन शहरों में हाईस्पीड ट्रेन के स्टेशन बनाए जाएंगे, जिनमें पटना के अलावा बक्सर और गया शामिल हैं। हाईस्पीड ट्रेन का मकसद राज्यों की राजधानियाँ और प्रमुख धार्मिक स्थलों को जोड़ना है।
